It is particularly suitable for the treatment of skin pigmentation on the face and the entire body. Thanks to its formulation, the kit is compatible with all skin types, whether oily or dry.

How does LUMINESCENS® work and what are its benefits?

LUMINESCENS® is a product kit with a brightening and depigmenting effect that has been specially developed for the treatment of facial and body areas. The effect is exerted by targeted active ingredients. This is additionally supported by a superficial peeling effect, which promotes the renewal of the epidermis and encourages transport into deeper layers of the skin. Both products in the set contain four active complexes that aim to reduce existing pigmentation and prevent the formation of new pigmentation:

Melanogenic enzyme blockers:
Melanin production is regulated by enzymes such as the protein tyrosinase. Melanogenic enzyme blockers target proteins such as these in order to reduce the production of melanin. This can reduce hyperpigmentation, for example.

Melanin formation and transport blockers:
Melanin formation and transport blockers such as copper chelators and MC1R inhibitors. Copper chelators inhibit the production of melanin by interfering with the activity of the protein tyrosinase. MC1R receptors stimulate melanin production. MC1R inhibitors can block these receptors or reduce their activity, thereby inhibiting melanin production.

Keratolytics:
Keratolytics are used to remove the top layer of skin, known as the epidermis. They promote the breakdown and removal of melanin deposits in the upper layer of the skin. This makes the skin appear brighter, softer and more radiant.

Antioxidants and dermonormalizers:
Oxidative stress occurs when free radicals, triggered by environmental factors such as UV rays, damage skin cells. This can lead to premature skin ageing and hyperpigmentation. Antioxidants and dermonormalizers therefore help to reduce the effects of oxidative stress on the skin.
